Holla-day shopping! December 10 2011

Has it really been that long since my last entry?!  Well, I have been staying busy.  There’s been a lot of standing around, looking good – hosting parties – having my photo taken for magazines (it rhymes with Phinneapolis Paint Fall Tagazine), hanging out with interesting people (no, not you, Daisy and Adam).  One nice thing about the upcoming “season of snow” is that I get to spend it indoors – standing outside was getting rather uncomfortable.  You try swatting away bugs and falling leaves when you’re made of fiberglass – then again I can wear sweaters made of insulation.  It’s so cozy – especially that pink stuff!

So, holiday shopping is in full swing – I know, but just go with it, bare down, stay focused, eat well, drink…well, stay hydrated.  We’ve got some great gifts – especially for those of us that are hard to buy for…I’m partial to the new wallets made of vintage suits and ties.  We also have a great array of unique tree ornaments.  If you’re in the mood for one-of-a-kind pieces of art, we have a whole wall full in the back…I’m not allowed to go back there anymore.  A few weeks ago, I went to use the bathroom (best one in Minneapolis by the way – you gotta check it out!), and yes, it’s a little known fact that mannequins only need to use the bathroom every three weeks…we’re like the sloths of the biped world.  Anywho, I was walking out of the bathroom and decided to take a closer look at the art.  Turns out I have poor depth perception…suffice to say, I’ll be working off that painting for another few weeks…just in time for my bathroom break!

Thanks for taking the time to read my blog…if you’re in the neighborhood, stop by and I’ll tell you some stories that aren’t fit to print…you wouldn’t believe what I see through these windows at night…
